Winter

Rest & Planning

  • Cover crops (rye, clover, vetch) to restore soil health.

  • Mulch beds, prune fruit trees and berry bushes in January, and organize seeds for early spring.

  • Oklahoma winters are mild enough to grow cold hardy greens under row covers experiment with spinach or kale for fresh winter harvests.
